How do I start learning to drive?

Before you can start your driving lessons you must have reached the age of 17 and be in possession of a provisional driving licence. You must also meet the requirements of the eyesight test. The distance requirement for the eyesight test using old style number plates is 20.5 metres or 20 metres if the new-style number plate is used.

How many lessons will I need?

The best way to learn to drive is to take regular lessons spread over a few weeks. Your course of lessons at drive 2 pass will be structured to your needs, allowing you to reach the required standard for your tests as soon as possible. Lessons can be 1 hour (standard), 1.5 hours or 2 hours long and can be taken at frequent intervals to suit your needs. (intensive courses are not available)

The in-car training I provide is on a one to one basis, there will be no other pupil in the car.

Appointments can often be arranged to suit your lifestyle and can include pickup from home, school, college, university or work. You can even finish your lesson in a different place by arrangement.
